Logo Concept:
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a medical treatment that uses pure oxygen under pressure to speed and enhance the body's natural ability to heal. BayArea Hyperbarics wanted a logo that would convey this concept: the arrows show air moving under pressure, the gradient blue is the air, and the heart represents healing and the compassionate care that patients can expect to receive when they go to BayArea Hyperbarics for treatment. The circle also represents the opening of the oxygen chamber that patients lie in while receiving this treatment. As some patients are apprehensive about going into the closed space of the chamber, BAH wanted a very friendly and accessible looking logo to dispell the myth that treatment is uncomfortable or scarey.
